California Department of Corrections
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) administers pre-employment / pre-placement medical examinations, respirator evaluations, fit testing, and associated tests and urine drug screenings to Peace Officer applicants. QTC utilizes its network of occupational health providers to conduct these exams on behalf of CDCR.
California Department of Mental Health
The California Department of Mental Health (DMH) oversees the Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program ensuring evaluation of an individual's need for mental health services and placement in a nursing facility when the individual has, or is suspected of having, a mental disability. QTC-contracted examiners conduct the independent psychosocial, psychiatric and physical evaluations.
Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) operates the General Relief (GR) program to provide financial assistance for individuals that are physically unable to work and are not otherwise eligible for assistance under any other state and federal aid programs. QTC's contracted examiners conduct the examinations to develop the medical evidence needed by DPSS to make an eligibility determination.
Mt. Sinai School of Medicine
Mt. Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM) is one of six institutions to receive grants to coordinate and help administer nationwide clinical medical monitoring services for workers and volunteers involved in the rescue, recovery, or cleanup at the World Trade Center site or the Staten Island landfill. QTC is the national provider contracted with MSSM to administer the medical monitoring services utilizing its expansive provider network.
US Department of Labor
The Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Workers' Compensation program, requires that most civilian federal employees who receive disability compensation undergo yearly medical examinations to maintain qualification. DOL contracts with QTC to coordinate and administer these medical second opinions.
US Department of Veterans Affairs
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides disability and pension benefits to our nation's veterans for all injuries and diseases incurred during, or aggravated by, service. In 1998, QTC was awarded an exclusive performance-based contract to coordinate and administer compensation and pension (C&P), as well as benefits delivery at discharge (BDD) examinations.
US Federal Occupational Health (FOH), Department of Health and Human Services
The Federal Occupational Health (FOH) provides examination services including pre-placement, pre- and post-employment and medical surveillance examinations; annual physicals; diagnostic and respiratory fit testing, immunization; as well as mobile services.
US Railroad Retirement Board
The Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) disability program is for railroad employees that have experienced an accident or health-related injury on the job. QTC-contracted examiners conduct consultative examinations for railroad employees and reports the evidence directly back to RRB for adjudication.
