Chairman's Message

It is hard to believe we are at the mid-year point for 2007. How this year has flown by! Many new developments have been taking place at QTC which has proven to be a busy but productive six months. In light of the new business opportunities, growth, and development, one thing proves true for QTC and that is our utmost commitment to our customers, whether it is our public and private sector clients, our network of providers or our employees, QTC continues to strive for excellence in all that we do and that includes all the individuals and organizations we serve.
Our most recent and exciting changes involve expanding our business in the occupational health sector. QTC began its new contract with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to administer pre-employment/pre-placement medical exams, respirator evaluations, fit testing, and associated tests to Peace Officer applicants.
Another exciting venture for QTC is the new agreement with the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York to coordinate and administer occupational health exams to workers and volunteers who responded to the attacks to the World Trade Center on September 11th in New York City.
And lastly, QTC is serving VA in a bigger capacity by providing compensation and pension examinations to veterans living in New Mexico and Louisiana, as well as psychological examinations to veterans in Michigan. What a privilege it is for QTC to serve America’s heroes that reaches from Peace Officers to soldiers and veterans to volunteers that risked their lives for others.
With all the momentum building at QTC to further improve processes, quality assurance and delivery of excellent customer service, it is no wonder the year is passing by at the speed of light. Change and growth brings great enthusiasm for the future, but we also remember and honor the legacy of QTC that has brought us to where we are today.
In the words of David Lloyd George, British Prime Minister and statesman, (1863-1945) “One generation plants trees, and the next enjoys the shade.”
