QTC Celebrates 25 Years Serving the Medical and Disability Communities

Diamond Bar, CA - July 1, 2005 - QTC, a pioneer in the disability industry, announced a year-long celebration commemorating its 25th anniversary. From its humble beginnings in Whittier, Calif., QTC has grown from a local operation to one with national reach and influence.

Starting with just three people and one medical facility, QTC has grown to 400 employees, 31 QTC owned-and-operated medical facilities, and a provider network with 12,000 physicians located throughout the United States plus Puerto Rico, Guam, Canada and Mexico.

When QTC first entered into the new and growing disability market, there were no established processes or physicians trained in gathering medical evidence. It was QTC's clear vision and comprehensive grasp of industry issues that resulted in the development of a standardized process and Web-based technology. These two elements combined helped to eliminate paper-based delays, streamline medical evidence development and standardize reports.
