QTC MANAGEMENT AWARDED THREE PATENTS ON DISABILITY MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SYSTEM
Diamond Bar, Ca., April 20, 2010: QTC Management, Inc., a pioneer in the development of disability evaluation software and the largest private provider of government-outsourced disability examination and occupational health services in the nation, proudly announces that it has obtained three patents, U.S. Patent Nos. 7,630,911, 7,630,913, and 7,707,046, for innovations utilized in its flagship examination protocol software, KMEP. The patents, which describe medical disability adjudication methods, are directed to various features embodied in KMEP, such as generating customized exam protocols based on specified claimed conditions. Following the generation of the exam protocols, this feature then produces the specific medical evidence required for disability adjudication. The features described by the patents allow physicians and other healthcare professionals to render quality, timely and concise reports through a streamlined evaluation process resulting in medical reports that meet client-specific evaluation requirements in an organized and dynamic manner. Marjie Shahani, CEO of QTC Management, in commenting on the patents granted to the company, said: “We’re very happy that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has recognized our inventions, and we are pleased that we have been able to use the inventions, through KMEP, to assist the United States Government in providing comprehensive and timely benefits to our veterans. We expect these patents will help us continue to achieve our motto of Quality, Timeliness, and exceptional Customer service by anticipating our clients’ needs.”
