QTC Sponsors 2006 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival

October 16,2006 - Diamond Bar, CA -QTC Medical Services was a proud sponsor of the 2006 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival held in Rapid City, South Dakota. QTC serves over 85,000 veterans annually through the nationwide C&P program with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Through participation in these events, QTC employees can witness firsthand the challenges and successes each veteran has overcome.

The arts festival is a celebratory performance and showcase of over 130 veterans throughout the VA healthcare system. Veterans enjoy the culmination of a talent competition by displaying their artwork, reading their creative writing, and performing their drama, music and dance. The VA medical facilities incorporate creative arts into their recreational therapy program and this event raises awareness of the creative achievements of our nation's veterans during recovery.

"I am grateful that QTC has the opportunity to participate in the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival again this year in a tangible and rewarding way," said Marjie Shahani, vice president of QTC Medical Services.
