Virginia Mao is the Vice President of Corporate Administration for QTC. Ms. Mao oversees pricing, financial, and profitability analysis of new business, feasibility analysis of new clinics, banking, internal audit, real estate & facilities management, procurement, and risk management.
Ms. Mao has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the fields of finance, accounting, and business administration. Her extensive knowledge in these areas has allowed her to implement effectively sensible cost containment and internal control measures to aid in the organizational and financial expansion of QTC. Since her arrival at QTC in 1998, she has implemented numerous systems and best practices that have improved efficiency and effectiveness. Moreover, she has led the expansion of QTC’s real estate footprint by successfully negotiating leases in the administrative offices and adding 15 new clinics across the U.S.
Before joining QTC, Ms. Mao held various director, controller and other leadership positions at La Agencia de Orci & Associates, a leading advertising agency serving the U.S. Hispanic market, the Federal Reserve Bank, and May Department Stores Company.
Ms. Mao holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, magna cum laude, from Francisco Marroquin University, Guatemala and a Master of business administration in finance, from California State University, Los Angeles, California.
