Daniel HighlandCorp. Director of Business Operations
Mr. Highland manages the analysis of business processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. He coordinates his efforts with the Corporate Strategy VP to develop transition plans for technology improvements and business opportunities from the strategy phase to the operational phase. He also supports all lines of business to define requirements and business cases for technology developments.
Daniel brings with him more than 29 years of healthcare operations, personal business management, statistical and data analytics and modeling. Daniel has been instrumental in improving QTC’s operational processes through implementation of Lean Six Sigma and integrated workflow methodologies to ensure the delivery of quality products in a timely manner with exceptional customer service. Daniel maintains an impressive record of integrating several large mainstream healthcare organizations into seamless regional and national healthcare delivery systems. Daniel is specifically known for integrating geographically separated medical facilities while implementing system-wide Electronic Health Record solutions as well as designing and implementing electronic healthcare workflow and interfacing solutions that are clinician and patient-centric.
Daniel has served our country for 16 years with the United States Navy as a Special Operations Corpsman as well as three years with the U.S. Army Reserve as a Medical Service Corps Officer. Daniel holds an MBA with a secondary specialty in Healthcare Administration and a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He is currently a Licensed Practical Nurse and is working to complete his Doctoral dissertation in Healthcare Administration at the University of Phoenix.
