Vice President of Emerging Health Operations- In
Daniel Highland is a Vice President for QTC. Mr. Highland is responsible for the overall operations, finance, leadership, analysis, and technology for QTCs emerging healthcare operations. With his team, he designs and implements electronic healthcare and operational solutions to integrate regional and national medical locations.
Mr. Highland has more than 34 years of experience in healthcare operations, business management, data analytics, and statistical analysis/modeling.
He served for 13 years in the United States Navy as a Special Operations Corpsman and three years in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Medical Service Corps Officer and as Commanding Officer of the 272nd Medical Detachment Bn. Mr. Highland had multiple overseas deployments and served in Desert Storm/Shield and Mogadishu/Somalia. During his service, the former Secretary of Defense awarded him the Joint Service Commendation Medal for this life-saving and heroic actions.
When not forward-deployed, he was responsible for the operation of multiple medical offices while serving in the U.S. Navy. Since that time, he has continued to hone his operational experience in the integration of geographically separated medical practices. He previously held management positions at St. Jude Heritage Healthcare, St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare, Healthcare Partners Medical Group, and Care More a Medicare Advantage Health Plan.
Daniel holds an MBA with a secondary specialty in Healthcare Administration and a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
He is currently a Licensed Practical Nurse and working towards his MSN.
