Leidos QTC Health Services Celebrates GivingTuesday

❮ Back to Newsroom

We’re recognizing GivingTuesday by honoring how our Leidos QTC Health Services community gives back.

All year long, our employees across the country come together to give back to our communities. We couldn’t be prouder of our team’s passion and shared mission of radical generosity.

Learn about a few of our relationships with community organizations below.

Operation Gratitude

We are honored to serve our nation’s heroes and seek additional ways to express our appreciation for their sacrifice. By partnering with Operation Gratitude, our team connects with deployed troops, Veterans, military families, and healthcare heroes.

Leidos QTC Health Services has participated in collection drives, letter-writing campaigns, handcrafted projects, and care package events. The nonprofit annually sends 250,000 care packages addressed to individual service members deployed in combat zones worldwide.

United Way

Leidos QTC Health Services has packed lunches for children, hosted school supplies drives, recorded online story time videos, and more for United Way, an international network of nonprofits improving the lives of children and families.

Salvation Army

Leidos QTC Health Services tremendously supported the Salvation Army through donation efforts even while volunteer work paused due to the pandemic. Volunteer and donation opportunities include disaster relief, homelessness and poverty assistance, holiday giving, rehabilitation, and more.

American Heart Association

Year after year, Leidos QTC Health Services employees raise life-saving funds for the American Heart Association (AHA) and contributed $24,812.96 this year. We fundraise, walk, and raise health awareness in the fight against heart disease and stroke, America’s number one killer.

Through their scientific research, the AHA has propelled breakthroughs that saved lives and improved human well-being through health guides and programs.

Duarte Community Service Council

Leidos QTC Health Services volunteers in LA County are heavily involved in Duarte Community Service Council’s community outreach gatherings, welfare services, annual holiday drives, student and senior assistance programs, and more.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society

Leidos QTC Health Services partners with Leidos in the Bike MS fundraising cycling series organized by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to fight for a future free of multiple sclerosis.

Employees raised over $3,500 this year to fund cutting-edge research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education, and provide programs and services to help people with MS move their lives forward.

Continue the Celebration

Our successful volunteer initiatives are not possible without you. Thank you for helping our communities become better places every day.

We invite you to continue GivingTuesday’s mission today by sharing an act of kindness, and remember: “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”– Aesop.
