QTC Management Awarded Prime Contract by Department of Labor

(Diamond Bar, Calif.) July 13, 2017 – QTC Management, a Leidos company (NYSE:LDOS), has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) to continue to provide Contract Medical Consultants (CMCs) to support the DOL Division of Energy Employees Occupation Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) within the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP).The single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity firm fixed-price contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $15 million if the Department exercises all options. Work will be performed in Diamond Bar, California.

The mission of the DEEOIC of DOL OWCP is to provide occupational illness benefits authorized by the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA).   DEEOIC is responsible for adjudicating and administering claims filed by Department of Energy current and former federal and contract employees or certain qualified survivors under the Act.  Under the follow-on contract, QTC continues to recruit qualified physicians to serve as CMCs.  The company is also working to maintain the high quality of medical review outcomes by its CMCs with quality-control measures including case screening, internal auditing, and workload analysis.
