Rehire Spotlight: Q&A with Keyasha World Morgan

Human Resources (HR) Sr. Manager Keyasha World Morgan left Leidos QTC Health Services in March 2020 and returned in April 2024.

Why did you leave Leidos QTC Health Services?

I left to relocate closer to family. Being Prior Service, I had not lived near my family for over 15 years and I wanted to be closer to provide care/support to my aging grandparents and parents along with giving my children the opportunity to be surrounded by family.

Why did you return to Leidos QTC Health Services?

After leaving Leidos QTC Health Services, I had the opportunity to accept various positions with the Department of Air Force (DAF), Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA), and more recently, Indian Health Services (IHS). While I found my position with IHS rewarding, I was made aware of the opportunity with Leidos QTC Health Services, and after consideration, I decided to apply.

During my prior tenure, I had a great opportunity to build strong relationships, partner, and I recalled the intrinsic reward of seeing the impact/result of my contributions to the team and business lines.

What is it about Leidos QTC Health Services that drew you back?

The mission and the people. Leidos QTC Health Services has a leadership team that not only believes in, but supports and embodies its mission. Also, I find great value in an organization that supports community based (volunteerism/philanthropic) activities.

There’s no greater reward than doing what you love and being in an organization that supports giving back to the community. Lastly, I appreciate Leidos QTC Health Services for being such a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What do you do in your current position?

I am the HR Sr. Manager, HR Business Partners (HRBPs); I partner with Leidos QTC Health Services leaders to help drive operational and HR strategy for sustained growth. I oversee the HRBPs supporting Line Ops, while internally collaborating with an awesome HR team to support employee initiatives and overall employee life cycle.

What advice do you have for former employees who are considering returning to Leidos QTC Health Services?

If you’re driven by the mission, the work, and the people, go for it. There’s been great changes in the four years since my prior employment and I love seeing the growth of Leidos QTC Health Services as a company!

Individually, we may have different goals, career aspirations, etc., but I’ve found that it’s the commonality and collaboration in achieving Leidos QTC Health Services mission that drives our continued success.
